Welcoming August in, I wanted to share with you a diffuser blend that was inspired by visiting family over the long weekend ( we hadn’t seen them in 7 months, and took all social distancing pre-cautions).

Try out this Sweet Holiday Diffuser Blend and tell me what you think, just add:

  • 2 drops of Tangerine
  • 2 drops of Ylang Ylang
  • 2 drops of Cedarwood
  • 2 drops of Sandalwood

Happy (a little late, sorry) May 1st-Diffuser Blend

So it’s a new month (May), it’s the 2nd day in (sorry I’m a little late) but I wanted to share with you a diffuser blend that is for new beginnings / fresh start.

Add the following oils and drops to your Diffuser and enjoy 🙂

Essential Oil Spotlight – Basil

Basil:

(Ocimum basilicum)

The spicy, yet herbal nature of Basil makes it a versatile oil that can be used to promote focus and alertness, or to add a little extra flavor while cooking.

DIY- Bubble Bath Recipe

With cooler weather around us (I got 8 inches of snow in 2 days), a nice warm, and relaxing bath is what I enjoy on these cold evenings, or after playing in the snow.

Below are the ingredients and steps so you can make your own warm,  natural based bubble bath. Enjoy!

Ingredients
1 cup unscented castile soap
½ cup vegetable glycerin
2 tablespoons water
15 drops preferred essential oil
Examples: Balance Blend, Lavender, Ylang Ylang, Serenity Blend, or Citrus Bliss if you’d like a rejuvenating bath.
Instructions
  1. Combine castile soap, glycerin, and water into glass bowl.
  2. Add essential oils.
  3. Stir until well combined.
  4. Pour into glass container.
  5. To use, add ¼–½ cup of the essential oil bubble bath mixture to warm, running bath water.

Note: These bubbles are not going to provide big fluffy bubbles that last a long time since it doesn’t contain the synthetic ingredients that create the high amounts of lather or foam. However, this chemical-free bath will provide enough bubbles for a relaxing and therapeutic bath you will enjoy even more.
